Table Tennis`s Floriano Massa in action
Team Malawi which has been earmarked to represent at the 12th African Games in Morocco has started their departures.
The first group of the Malawi team which comprised of Judo athletes, left on 14th August 2019 followed by Table Tennis team which left on 17th August 2019 and Swimming together with Taekwondo which left on 18th August 2019.
The Teams have their specific days of competition with Table Tennis commencing on 20th, swimming and Taekwondo on 21st.
The rest of the Team from Archery and Athletics will soon start their departures from 23rd and 24th of August 2019.
The 12th African Games are the qualifying Games for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and with the intensive training that has been taking place in phases, MOC is hopeful that the team will perform well, with the technical team doing a great job in choosing the team
